Two cottages in a historic village are set to be turned into a single home.
West Norfolk council has agreed plans to alter the properties on St James Green at Castle Acre, near Swaffham.
A planning statement said: "The proposed works will entail linking the two properties to create a single family home, ensuring the future usage of the cottages.
"All efforts have been taken to create the proposed layout in sympathy to the historic beauty of the buildings."

A corridor will be formed to join the two existing houses together, and there will also be some internal changes.
A heritage statement says the listed properties date back to the 19th Century.
It adds that the village they stand in, Castle Acre, boasts "an extraordinary wealth of history" as "a rare and complete survival of a Norman-planned settlement"
