A much-loved Greek restaurant on the Norfolk coast is set to be converted into flats.
An application to convert the former Constantia Cottage Restaurant, on East Runton's High Street, into eight flats has been given the green light by North Norfolk District Council.
The restaurant closed permanently four years ago due to Covid.
Currently, the site houses the old restaurant and two flats.

Panayis and Stella Yiasimi, originally from Cyprus, bought the restaurant in 1980.
They ran it with the 100 seater restaurant with their children and performances of Greek music by their sons’ band, the Constantia Brothers, were a big feature of the restaurant's atmosphere.
A planning document says: "The proposed conversion of The Constantia Cottage Restaurant and existing flats into eight residential flats offers a sustainable and appropriate reuse of the building, providing much-needed housing in East Runton."
