A rescue centre in Norfolk is searching for rural homes to allow its pooches to escape to the country.
The team at Dogs Trust Snetterton is searching for potential owners with country cottages, bungalows and farmhouses to help find its dogs a more relaxing forever home.
Quiet countryside locations offer a great place for many of the dogs to gain their confidence back without having to worry about distressing loud noises or sudden encounters with other pooches.
A Dogs Trust spokesman said: "These also include ‘Underdogs’ which is the term given to any dog that has spent more than six months in Dogs Trust care.
"Underdogs may have simply been overlooked or may require extra training or ongoing veterinary treatment. "
One dog at the Snetterton site who is searching for a rural home is Lewis Capawldi, a four-year-old German Shepherd.

Lewis is quite cautious of other people and dogs so an open relaxing space of his own could help him flourish.
Kelly Smith, manager at Dogs Trust Snetterton, said: “It’s not just humans who want to escape to the country; lots of our fantastic dogs are seeking new homes in rural areas.
“Many potential adopters are looking for a dog that can cope with being walked in public parks, going to doggy daycare and is comfortable around other people and dogs, but for some of our dogs, this busy life is not for them.
"Instead, they require regular routines and a much quieter life with minimum interaction with strangers, which includes being exercised in areas that are largely free from other dogs.
"We hope by highlighting some of our amazing dogs looking for the quiet life, we can find them their perfect matches.”
