An illegally modified e-bike designed to transport a child has been seized by police.
Officers spotted the bike - with top speeds of up to 60mph - speeding down Losinga Road in North Lynn on Friday.
It was then discovered that a cushion had been strapped around the throttle-assisted bike's crossbar in an attempt to transport a three-year-old child.
According to the 1988 Road Traffic Act, legally only one person is allowed to ride on a bike not propelled by mechanical power unless it was specifically made to carry more than one person.

The bike - which can be technically classified as a motorbike - was then seized by police.
It comes amid the RISE project, a community outreach effort designed to crack down on problems directly affecting those who live, work and study in North Lynn.
The initiative has seen more than 50 arrests made so far as well as £1,000 in illicit cash seized.
