A grey house which doesn't fit in with its historic surroundings could be given a facelift.
Gracie Burton has applied for planning permission to replace the brick facade of her home to match neighbouring properties on Priory Lane, in King's Lynn.
She says in her application to West Norfolk Council: "Our new home is in a conservation area, but doesn't seem to fit with the character of the street since it has a grey render over the front bricks.
"We would like to remove the render and restore the original bricks underneath."
Ms Burton adds if the bricks beneath the render appear in poor condition, she would place brick slips on top of the surface which match the original bricks.
She has also applied to repaint her front door green, to match those of other houses on her street.
Priory Lane, off Church Street, is close to Lynn Minister, the Hanse House and a host of listed buildings.
