An 86-year-old care home resident has fulfilled her wish to swim again.
Iris Morton, who grew up in Blakeney, was taught to swim at Blakeney Quay by her dad.
She eagerly accepted an invitation from BBC Norfolk presenters to swim on November 8 for Children in Need.
Ms Morton, who is a resident at Redlands House care home in Swaffham, was up early and ready to take the plunge.
She said: "All children should be loved and cherished."
She was thrilled to swim with radio presenter Edd Smith and have pictures taken with Jessica-Jane Applegate.
She said: "This experience is something I will never forget, I may never get an opportunity to do this again but I am so glad that I did."
Care home manager Laura Ward said: "Life should not stop when you enter a care home and I will do everything I can to ensure my residents live a happy and fulfilling life.
"Any goals and aspirations they may still have are met if possible.”
