Huge crowds packed into Dereham Market Place for poignant commemorations on Remembrance Sunday.

The normal busyness stopped for a perfectly observed two minutes' silence and heads were bowed as the Last Post echoed around the town centre.

Before the service around the War Memorial, a parade marched from the Cherry Tree car park and was led by the Dereham Town Band.

Dereham rector the Rev Paul Cubitt and Dereham Royal British Legion president Dennis O'Callaghan led the commemorations.
