Two men have been accused of being drug dealers after cocaine was discovered in a car stopped on the Norfolk-Suffolk border.
Jacob Talbot, 24, and Connor Stanyer, 22, were arrested when they were pulled over on Louies Lane at Palgrave, near Diss, in September 2022.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told the car had been followed by police.
Evidence discovered on a mobile phone seized by officers had allegedly included messages indicative of street dealing.
Talbot, of Rose Lane in Diss, did not enter a plea to possession of 13 grams of cocaine with intent to supply.
Stanyer, from Uckfield in East Sussex, entered no plea to charges of possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of a knuckle-duster as an offensive weapon.
Nicola Lamb, prosecuting, said the charges carried a starting point of four and a half years in prison.
Magistrates said the offences were too serious for their powers and committed both men to Norwich Crown Court with a preliminary hearing on December 6.
Both were given unconditional bail.
