A West Norfolk restaurant has been damaged after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant in Setchey, near King's Lynn, was partially wrecked by the blaze on October 10.
Thanks to fire safety measures, including fire doors, the flames were contained, sparing the bar and restaurant from extensive destruction.
However, the kitchen sustained significant fire damage and is temporarily unusable.
The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant is also home to various sister businesses; Britain’s Biggest Beer Shop, Beers of Europe and The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables.
These businesses remain open to customers.
The Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, Councillor Paul Bland, will be visiting The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant on November 12 to show his support for the venue as it recovers.
Amanda Waterfield, marketing manager, said: “We’re grateful for the support from Mayor Bland, whose presence will remind our loyal patrons and visitors that we’re still here and open for business."
The incident has been a challenging setback as the festive season approaches.
There has also been some confusion in the community, with many mistakenly believing that the entire premises are closed.
Local folk are invited to join on November 12 to welcome Mayor Bland and show support for the business, which aims to rebuild stronger and continue to be a vibrant part of the King’s Lynn community.
A spokesman for the venue said: "The safety of our staff and customers remains our highest priority, and we’re actively working to restore full service."
