A historic venue located in the heart of the city will be hosting two Christmas markets this year.

Held at The Assembly House, the first will be spread across three grand rooms and is hosted by the venue itself.

They will be full of stalls, and a pianist and a choir will be singing festive classics around one of the biggest Christmas trees in Norwich.

Located in the Music Room, Hobart Room and Noverre Ballroom will be a wide range of "the finest gifts from talented makers and creators."

The first merry event will take place on Sunday, November 17 between 11am and 4pm and will be free to attend.

Following the Christmas Fair,  Fierce Babe Christmas Market will kick off a new month on Sunday, December 1.

This festive event will have more than 25 indie makers and creators who identify as women, trans or are part of the LGBTQ+ community.

The stalls will include jewellery, prints, homeware, accessories and many more gift ideas leading up to the big day.

The event is also free entry and will take place between 11am and 4pm.
