Young carers enjoyed an action-packed day at Thorpe Adventure Park to boost confidence and resilience.
The event on October 30 was organised by the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) and Suffolk Family Carers’ Young Carers Team.
It featured activities including forest climbing, zip-lining and archery.
Carers lead, Julie Williams, said: "The feedback was fantastic.
"The young people had fun, made friends and learned about the importance of self-care and mental health.

“Beyond the excitement, the day provided these young carers a much-needed break and a chance to connect with peers, building their self-confidence and strengthening their support network.”
Young carers at the event said the day had given them "confidence, bravery, courage and friendship".
Deputy chief executive and chief people officer, Cath Byford, said: “It’s wonderful to give our young carers a chance to have some down time and mix with others who understand what it’s like to be in their position.
"Events like this help us work towards being a safer, kinder and better organisation.”
