A stall serving homemade chilli which has been 25 years in the making is opening at Norwich Market next week.
Papa Mombassa, created by David Brain, is launching on November 14 and will also serve a variety of stews.
The 43-year-old “fell in love with the idea of a market stall” 25 years ago and has been serving his chilli at venues hosting bring-your-own booze events.
"I remember when you could go to a pub with a fiver and buy a drink for yourself, your mate and a packet of tobacco leaving with change,” he said.
"I grew up meeting people of all different generations but younger people can't often afford these kinds of experiences.

"I decided to start pub quizzes with my chilli and the name came to me in a dream.
"It has been massively well-received, selling out every time, so I decided to apply for a market stall and here we are now."
The stall is set to be finished by next Tuesday with the soft opening taking place during the Christmas lights turn-on event on Thursday before an official opening the following day.
Mr Brain has also been discussing plans to make Norwich Market a nightlife hub.
"Norwich Market is underused in the evenings,” he added. “I have spoken to the market managers and they said ‘go with it and let's try and get it open’.
"My vision is to have a quiz involving the whole market with every stall having a team.
"Get the whole thing lit up with festive lights and some music."
