Plans for nine new homes on the site of a former village school have been revealed.
Kevin Starr has applied for outline planning permission for the development at West Dereham, near Downham Market.
He proposes to build five chalet-style properties on the site of a former school, plus four two-storey homes on its playing fields.

The application states it is: "Part of a forward-thinking planning policy that all towns and villages can incorporate small developments, so increasing housing stock, without building on open rural farmland."
A flood risk assessment says no flooding has ever occurred at the site, off Church Road, and an archaeological survey revealed there were unlikely to be remains on the land.
A decision is expected from West Norfolk council next year.
