Vandals have struck again at a public garden that was opened by the Queen Mother.
The Queen Mother's Garden, in Dereham, has had its cabinet, which is used as a community book swap, damaged recently.
Alison Webb, Breckland councillor, said she became aware of the damage while she was out litter picking on Sunday.
She found the cabinet's wooden door frame had been broken and its plexiglass had been bent.
There was also a burnt book inside.
Dereham Men's Shed, who built the cabinet, were called upon to mend it, which they did.
Kevin Green, from the group, said: "Fortunately the damage was repairable and the book library is back in use."
Ms Webb said: "I'm very angry that vandals consider it okay to behave like this, spoiling the efforts of Breckland and Dereham Council alongside many of the community who helped make the Queen Mother's gardens a beautiful place for us to enjoy."
Earlier this year, vandals targeted the bench in the garden, which was described as a "jewel in the crown" of the garden.
then charged with damage and expected to appear at King's Lynn Magistrate's Court at the end of October.
A man wasMs Webb said: "The previous damage to the benches in the garden was caught by the CCTV cameras and we are pressing forward with prosecution.
"We will look over the CCTV and I will be asking for the same treatment for this case."
The Queen Mother's Garden was first opened by the Queen Mother herself in 1983.
