The judges were impressed by A1, saying it is “punching above its weight, in terms of financial performance and innovation”.
Judges also liked the attention the leadership team gives their staff and customers, describing their level of care as “palpable” and clearly shining through in the submission.

It designs, builds and sells the equipment, and has three main product lines that allow customers to view objects on the seabed, determine the depth/ shape of the seabed, or detect objects buried beneath it.
Its products are used in more than 70 countries and export sales are predominantly through a network of 50 channel partners, ensuring that sales and support are available to customers locally.

Indigo Swan

With its open and honest approach, Indigo Swan works hard to nurture relationships built on strong foundations of integrity and trust.
It doesn’t want to be the cheapest or the biggest energy consultants in the UK, it wants to be the very best.
The judges were impressed by Indigo Swan’s “commitment to investing in its people, its systems and infrastructure”.
They also praised its approach to refocusing its strategy on sustainability, renewables and green energy, which helped it stand out from the competition.
