A man banned from Co-op stores across Norwich has been jailed after his latest shoplifting spree.
Hallum Elgood, of no fixed address, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court last Monday where he pleaded guilty to eight counts of shop theft and seven counts of breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
The 38-year-old was issued the CBO on August 16, banning him from entering Co-op shops for five years.

But between August 10 and October 13, it was found that Elgood shoplifted from stores in Hall Road, Lovelace Road and Colman Road on several occasions.
During the spree, more than £1,400 worth of alcohol, meat and laundry products were stolen.
He was arrested on October 26 and later charged.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 28 where he was given a 12-week prison sentence.
