A former UEA student who now appears on primetime telly has spoken about her time at the Norwich university.
Buket Komur graduated with a degree in film studies and English literature in 2020 and is currently booked on Generation Z, a new six-part thriller series on Channel 4.
She has also appeared in the ITV drama Honour alongside Keeley Hawes, and the independent feature film Layla released earlier this year.
Of her time at the UEA, she said: "I remember visiting on an open day and feeling really comfortable walking around.

"I could actually imagine myself there as a student which I hadn't felt when visiting other schools.
"Plus it was one of the only universities that offered a joint honours course in film and English literature, which were my favourite A-level subjects.
"I was also really lucky to meet my two best friends at the UEA because we were all on the same course.
"We'd go from watching a 1920s film together in a lecture to clubbing at the LCR that same day, it was great."
Generation Z is available to stream on demand.
