A body has been found in a town dock during the search for a missing 73-year-old woman.
The discovery was made at Bentinck Dock in King's Lynn by a member of the public shortly before 11am on Thursday.
Formal identification has yet to take place but police say the family of Mary White has been informed.
Mrs White was last seen at her home in Nelson Avenue in Downham Market at around 10pm on September 24.She was reported missing by family members the following morning after they discovered she was no longer in the house.
CCTV footage showed Mrs White walking along Railway Road in Downham Market at 3.30am on September 25 wearing white pyjamas, but there had not been any further sightings of her.
Extensive searches were carried out in the town, with police asking people to check their CCTV and doorbell footage.
The police marine unit was also drafted in to search the Great Ouse River and its banks.
Police say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
