Plans for a new electric vehicle charging zone have been revealed for a town's supermarket.
Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has applied for planning permission to install chargers at Morrisons filling station at Emneth, on the outskirts of Wisbech.
It says in a planning statement: "MFG is looking to roll-out an extensive supply of EV charging facilities at existing Morrisons sites across the UK to diversify their existing offer, with the aspiration to make it as easy to charge your vehicle as refuelling with petrol or diesel.

"The aspiration of MFG is to provide access to convenient and affordable charging, regardless of where the driver lives."
Proposals for a new jet wash are also included in the application for the site, on the main A1101 Elm High Road opposite the Morrisons supermarket.
An existing car wash would be removed to make way for the alterations.
A decision from West Norfolk Council is expected next year.
