Two remote barns are set to be demolished to make way for three new homes.
West Norfolk Council's planning committee has been recommended to approve proposals to take down the structures at Marshland St James, near Wisbech, and build three bungalows on the site.
A report to councillors says plans to convert the barns on Middle Drove into three properties were agreed in 2015 but didn't go ahead.
The fresh application entails demolishing the barns and replacing them with "barn-style" houses.

Ten letters of objection were received, on grounds including the impact on wildlife and the poor state of the road past the site.
Nevertheless, the report concludes: "The proposal is considered to have no material harm on the character and appearance of the countryside, neighbour amenity, highway safety, flood risk or ecology within the locality and therefore the application is duly recommended for approval."
Councillors meet to decide the plans on Monday, November 4.
