Halloween is almost upon us and the ghouls as well as schools are out for some hell-raising half-term fun.

Like the very best of Saturday night television in years gone by, the show is a hybrid of music, comedy and dance - with an added sprinkle of circus chills, thrills and spills.

Friedrich FrightFriedrich Fright (Image: Peter Walsh, Newsquest) The fiendishly funny Friedrich Fright (Pip Randelle) expertly marshals the show from the front and centre of the stage, introducing a madcap mixture of frightful fun throughout the show.

Ringer and his excellent band belt out the hits, many of which are of course spookily seasonal, such as Monster Mash, Thriller, Ghostbusters, Monsters Rule OK and Time Warp.

The audience is also treated to spectacular dance skits and some impressive circus skills including juggling, tightrope walking and aerial silks.

Now in its fifth year, The Monster Club is becoming something of a family favourite here in Norfolk and rightly so. There is plenty for people of all ages to get their teeth into.

The Monster Club is at the Norfolk Showground until Thursday, October 31.

Tickets are priced at £15.
