A devoted mother who dedicated her life to caring for her daughter while inspiring others going through tough times has died.
Dawn Lossau, from Spixworth, died unexpectedly on Sunday evening at the age of 52.
She was the mother of Maisie Lossau, who passed away two years ago aged 17, following a dogged journey with a brain tumour discovered when she was just 10.
From the moment the family learned of the tumour, Mrs Lossau devoted herself to caring for her daughter and raising awareness of her condition.
Mrs Lossau and husband Darrell helped inspire others by sharing their journey as a family, collectively becoming known as Team Awesome.
Together, the family showed grace and determination in the face of adversity, with Maisie in particular always wearing a smile on her face despite her many challenges.
Following Maisie's tragic death in August 2022, Mrs Lossau continued to keep her daughter's legacy alive by sharing happy memories and offering support to others.
Since her death, tributes have flooded in for the mum-of-one after news of her passing was shared by Mr Lossau across Team Awesome's social media channels.
In a post on the Team Awesome Facebook page, Mr Lossau wrote: "It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the sudden passing of my beloved wife, Dawn.
"In my heart, I feel that Maisie needed her mum, and Dawn has now gone to be with her."
As well as caring for Maisie, Mrs Lossau spent 17 years working for city-based solicitors Leathes Prior.
In a tribute posted on Linked In, a spokesman for the organisation said she was "loved and loving in equal measure".
Mrs Lossau died on the evening of October 27, having fallen ill earlier that day.
She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, where she died having suffered a stroke and a blood clot.
Mr Lossau added: "I sincerely want to thank everybody who has reached out to offer their support - Team Awesome will live on."
- Donations in Mrs Lossau's memory can be made to the Children's Cancer and Leukemia Group at https://specialnamedfunds.cclg.org.uk/be-more-maisie or to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Her positivity, even when most would cease to be positive, was humbling to us all.
