A bid to transform one home into two homes has been approved, after being dubbed "a good idea".
The applicants, Mr and Mrs Robson, applied to convert Home Farm on Shop Street in Whinburgh into two semi detached homes with three bedrooms.
Plans for the property near Dereham outline how the new homes will have their own garden and access to a shared driveway and cart lodge.
Stephen Fuller, who lives on the same street, said the application was "a good idea to turn a tired and underused home into family houses".

Breckland Council agreed and gave the plans the go-ahead but with conditions.
One of them is the removal of the property's septic tank.
Mr and Mrs Robson must then replace the septic tank with a treatment plant to ensure the proposal aligns with nutrient neutrality targets.
The council said: "This condition is to mitigate against adverse effects and make the development acceptable with specific regard to the integrity of River Wensum Special Area of Conservation, the Broads and Broadland Ramsar site."
The applicants have three years to complete the development.
