A man has been arrested after a police car and an office building were smashed with a golf club.
The incidents happened on October 15 when a police car parked outside the police station in Cromer Road, Sheringham, had its bodywork dented and its driver-side window smashed.
The window of a North Norfolk District Council office building in Holt Road, Cromer, was also found broken later that day.
The estimated cost of the damages across both spots was approximately £3,000.
Following an investigation, a man was arrested and taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Andrew Griffiths, 49, of Hunworth Road, Edgefield, was later charged with two counts of criminal damage, driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was released on bail to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on December 2.
