A crash at a roundabout has left traffic gridlocked on two different roads.

Police were first called to the incident at 12.30 pm after receiving reports of a tractor crashing into the roundabout on the A143 at the Ipswich turn-off just outside Diss.

The trailer the tractor was pulling is blocking the road and traffic is queuing in both directions along the A143 and A140.

No one was injured and police remain at the scene.

Recovery is now on the scene with the trailer back upright.

Parts of the A143 have been closed. 

It is estimated that this will last for up to three hours. 

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area if possible.
