A Fiat 500 driver who died after crashing her car into a parked lorry has been named.
Sandra King, of Runham near Great Yarmouth, died earlier this month following a crash in the village of Mautby. She was 72.
An inquest into her death was opened on Friday, October 25, during which brief details of the incident were provided.
Norfolk Coroner's Court heard that Ms King was a retired home shopper and was driving on Osier Lane in the village at the time of the collision.
Area coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed that the medical cause of her death was traumatic injuries to her spine and chest suffered in the crash.
Mrs Lake added that ischemic heart disease was also believed to be a contributing factor to the tragedy.
The crash happened at 7am on Tuesday, October 15, close to Mautby Lane.
Emergency services including fire, ambulance and an air ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed for some time.
However, Ms King died at the scene.
Mrs Lake adjourned the hearing until April 8 next year.
