The assistant head coach for the Canaries has sung the praises of a Norwich institution - describing it as "unbelievable".

In a video posted to Instagram Glen Riddersholm, known to fans as The Riddler, expressed his love for DIY store Thorns.

As he walks past the shop in Exchange Street, the Danish coach tells the person holding the camera: "This is an amazing store.

"This is just from another time, another age.

"If you go in there it's just like being back in the, I don't know, 60s, 50s. I really like it."

A person off-screen replies, "That is a Norwich icon of a store because if you need anything - ever - you just go in there and you'll find it."

"Yeah, it's unbelievable," Riddersholm agrees after saying he and his wife had visited the shop together.

Previously the head coach of Swedish top-flight side IFK Norrkoping, the 52-year-old appears to be settling in well to his new home.

In 2019, Norwich City player Onel Hernandez made similar headlines after he enthusiastically praised Argos in an interview.

Hernandez was given a catalogue signed by the CEO and even did a signing event at their Norwich Riverside store the following year.
