A new multi-million pound used car garage is opening in Norwich and will have space for hundreds of vehicles. 

Motorpoint is expanding its operations and has confirmed the opening of its latest store in Turnpike Close on the Sweet Briar Estate.

Its opening will mark the firm's 21st store and third in East Anglia with sites in Ipswich and Peterborough.

Motorpoint has revealed a planned opening date of mid-December with the official day being announced closer to the time.

Mark Carpenter, Motorpoint Group CEO, said: “We’re excited to be expanding our retail network and opening our 21st store this December.

“With the success of our Ipswich and Peterborough stores, we knew we wanted to expand our presence in East Anglia, so bringing the Motorpoint brand to Norwich was an obvious choice.

"Once the store opens, we’ll have fantastic coverage in the region – meaning car buyers across the East of England will be within easy driving distance of a Motorpoint store."
