A public meeting to give people another opportunity to air their views on the possible closure of a medical surgery will be held at a town hall.
NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB has set up an additional meeting at Dereham Memorial Hall over its proposal to close down Toftwood Medical Centre when its contract with the surgery expires next year.
The current solution under consideration is dispersing patients across Orchard Surgery and Theatre Royal Surgery, which NHS Norfolk and Waveney says are expanding and will have capacity to care for more patients.
The additional event follows an overwhelming attendance at the organisation's first drop-in session, which took place on Tuesday, October 22.
Dozens of patients who attended the first session at the surgery expressed their anger at the news and put forward suggestions to keep the NHS services in the area.
The free event, on Wednesday, November 13 between 6pm and 7.30pm, will be a ticketed event to "ensure people can sit and participate comfortably".
