A star-studded reading of A Christmas Carol is coming to North Norfolk.

Graham Seed, known for his role as Nigel Pargetter in the BBC radio series The Archers, will play Ebenezer Scrooge.

The narrators include Brian Capron, Sabina Franklyn, and Jenny Funnell, known for their roles in Coronation Street, Fawlty Towers, and As Time Goes By, respectively.

The reading will be staged at Cromer Parish Hall from Tuesday, December 3 to Thursday, December 5.

The story follows cold-hearted businessman Ebenezer Scrooge, who vows to change his ways after being visited by his former business partner's ghost and three other spirits.

The production is being adapted, produced, and directed by Paul Burton, who has previously brought West End musical theatre concerts to Cromer.

Performances will be at 7.30pm on the Tuesday, 4pm and 7.30pm on the Wednesday, and 7.30pm on the Thursday.

Evening performance doors open at 7pm, and the matinee at 3.30pm.
