A South Norfolk road has been temporarily closed this week. 

Norfolk County Council issued a notice that Church Road in Bergh Apton has been closed due to urgent repairs on an Anglian Water burst main. 

It has been closed since October 17 and the notice is in place until October 23.

There is a possible extension to November 6 if needed. 

The alternative route includes Church Road, The Street, Cookes Road, Hall Road, A146, Mundham Road, and surrounding roads. 

Violation of the closure is punishable by a fine of up to £1,000.
