Police officers in Great Yarmouth have been on patrol in 'hotspot' areas for antisocial behaviour.

On Thursday and Friday last week, officers were seen on foot patrolling several locations including the seafront, Marine Parade and the Marketplace.

They also inspected nearby streets like Regent Road, York Road, King Street and Nottingham Way.

In a post on Facebook, Great Yarmouth Police said that officers encountered and dealt with a group of street drinkers.

In a separate incident, they referred a vulnerable woman to local support services for assistance.
