A new cafe could open in a village on the coast.
The owner of Scratby Garden Centre, Sarah Jayne Lawson, has lodged plans with Great Yarmouth Borough Council to build an extension to the post office on Beach Road.
The premises would have a separate coffee shop with cooking facilities and accessible toilet.

According to the application, the cafe would employ two full-time and two part-time staff.
The proposed opening hours are 9am to 6pm every day.
A decision on the bid is expected by December 4
