Six stray puppies are being cared for after being discovered in an "appalling condition".
The Spaniel-type dogs were rescued from the Beccles area earlier this month by the Norfolk Dog Warden service.
"Sadly, the puppies were all found in an appalling condition, suffering with worms, mange infections and other issues," a spokesman for East Suffolk Council said.
“Staff at Animal Warden Services have worked hard to care for these puppies, providing full veterinary treatment and a lot of love."
After the dog warden service took to social media to ask for towels, blankets and dog toy donations to be left at Swaffham Veterinary Centre and Taverham Vets for the puppies, they were inundated with support.

“The rescue centre has been overwhelmed with enquiries from people offering to give the puppies a new home and Animal Warden Services would like to thank everyone for all their help and support, and kind donations of towels.
"These really made a difference and are always welcome.”
Stray dogs found by the Animal Warden Services are not re-homed directly by the council and the service stated that people should not contact them about adopting the puppies.
The pups are now being cared for at a rescue centre which will continue to nurse them back to full health before finding them new homes.
Anyone with information about the dogs or why they were allowed to get into such a poor condition is asked to contact Animal Warden Services Norfolk quoting reference ES56/24.
