A popular heritage railway has scooped national acclaim for its Christmas event.
With the festive season fast approaching, The Times has curated their picks for the 15 best festive train rides with The North Norfolk Railway gaining a spot on the list.
The Norfolk Lights Express and Santa Special services run across the 5.5-mile track between Sheringham and Holt and will get a festive makeover as they run once again this year.

Thousands of lights on the outside of each carriage will shine onto the scenery in a series of changing colours and illuminated installations are brought to life by on-board narration and music.
