A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of theft but police are hopeful to return the bike to its owner.
West Norfolk Police are asking the public to help them track down the owner of a bike they recovered last Saturday night in King's Lynn.
They found two bikes in the town centre that they believed had been stolen.
One of the bike owners was found after police spotted the bike posted to a Facebook group.
But despite looking through crime reports and the Bike Register - a national bicycle marking and registration scheme to prevent theft - they were unable to find the owner of the second bike.

The owner of the bike is asked to get in touch with King's Lynn Police on 101 quoting crime ref 36/73007/24.
They can also send a Facebook message to West Norfolk Police or visit King’s Lynn Police Station with proof of ownership.
A teenage boy who was arrested on suspicion of theft on Saturday has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for West Norfolk Police added: "If you use a bike in west Norfolk we’d always encourage you to use a really good lock to keep it safe when you’re not with it.
"The official advice is to double lock it using two D locks, attaching the wheels and frame to a secure cycle rack.
"It’s also worth registering your bike officially so that if it is stolen and then recovered we can get it back to you.
"If your bike does get stolen please do report it to us – you can do this quickly and easily online.
"We can’t promise that we’ll be able to find it but if we do then we can get it back to you a lot quicker."
