A new MP is celebrating the success of a job fair that saw nearly 30 local businesses and training providers attendance.
Terry Jermy, MP for South West Norfolk, organised the event in collaboration with Thetford Job Centre.
The event was part of Mr Jermy's pre-election pledges and aimed to help residents find suitable employment. Almost 250 residents attended the four-hour session.

Mr Jermy said: "I volunteered to fund the event last week because I know how important these events are.
"I’m delighted with the success of this first joint initiative and look forward to future joint working opportunities."
The fair comes as the Labour government introduces its Employment Rights Bill, which aims to update outdated employment laws.
Saffron Taylor, talent acquisition partner for Baxter Healthcare Limited, said: "It was great to be able to share more about the manufacturing of our life-saving products and why Baxter is a great place to work."
Other businesses in attendance included RAF Honington, Two Sisters, Norse Care, and Onward Enterprises.
