A historic butcher's shop is relocating to a nearby site that is 10 times bigger to meet demand. 

Edward Hector Prior opened Priors of West Lynn along St Peter's Road in 1956.

Almost 70 years later, the business is still run by the same family and as well as celebrating the past they are also looking to the future.

In spring 2025, Priors is relocating to a purpose-built site along Clenchwarton Road on the outskirts of West Lynn, a suburb of King's Lynn.

It will give them 10 times more space and this includes a customer car park with 30 spaces.

Andrew Prior, 36, said: "We have outgrown every square inch of our current shop and parking is a nightmare.

"With the new location, we will not be reinventing the wheel but it will provide a much better space to showcase all our products.

"Customers will also be able to get takeaway bacon and sausage breakfast rolls, hot carved meat baps and coffees."

Priors of West Lynn also offers pies, pastries and ready meals that are made in-house.
