One of Norfolk's councils is to get a share of a multi-million-pound pot to help kickstart building new homes.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council will get more than £80,000 from money the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government has made available to get homes built on brownfield land.
Yarmouth is the only Norfolk council selected to receive the Brownfield Land Release Fund money, with the rest of the £5m for the East of England heading to Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
The money is to help cover costs of decontamination, clearing disused buildings or improving infrastructure such as internet, water and power.
It is understood the cash will be used towards plans for new housing in The Conge.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Broadland Housing Association and Orwell Housing Association are working on a plan for 82 new homes at The Conge, where warehouses and factory buildings have been knocked down.
Carl Smith, leader of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, said: ''The Conge is such a vital link from the railway station to the town centre and a major new housing development at the site clearly demonstrates our ambition for the future of our borough."
