Vintage agricultural machines were put through their paces in a ploughing match to raise money for a farming charity.

The Norfolk branch of RABI (the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) held the event at Church Farm in Mautby, near Great Yarmouth.

About 20 people entered the ploughing competitions, watched by an enthusiastic crowd of spectators.

John and Sally Mitchell brought their 1953 County Fulltrack CFT Crawler, offering spectators a chance to "have a go" to see if they could plough a straight line.

And Norwich-based farm machinery dealer Ben Burgess also brought a "dyno" machine to test the horsepower of the tractors on show.

Lucy Bellefontaine, East regional manager for RABI, said: "The sun shone, it was a beautiful day.

"Thank you to everyone who was involved and thank you to those that entered the match and supported the event."
