A woman who bought a painting from a North Walsham charity shop is desperately trying to find the mysterious place it depicts.
Sharon Richards got the artwork just to use its frame and then thought nothing of it.
That was until the 63-year-old was left unable to stop wondering where exactly the cottage in the painting is - sparking a county-wide mystery.
Ms Richards shared the painting from 1944 on social media on Sunday where theories about its origins quickly developed.
"I think that it might be in the Cromer area going on what the artist wrote on the back," she said.

The signature on the back of the painting appears to read "Tunstead by H.C. Green" - which could place the cottage somewhere near the north Norfolk village.
But some online sleuths think it simply reads "Painted by H.C. Green".
Others have even said that the house might be impossible to find as it seems to have been painted from a back view in the garden not seen by passersby.
Further evidence of H.C. Green's connection to the eastern counties was then uncovered when another painting - this time from 1945 of The Olde Neptune in Ipswich - was found listed on eBay.
Ms Richards would like to give the painting to the current owners of the mystery house and anyone who might recognise it should contact her on Facebook.
