Baristas from across Norwich and beyond battled it out to be named the best at a competition in a city coffee shop.
Giles Hayward-Smith opened Buffalo Coffee Brewers in St Benedicts Street in October 2023.
On Friday night, he hosted a 'Barista Smackdown' contest, sponsored by Minor Figures and Square Mile Coffee Roasters, with food from Lupa Pizza.

There were 12 competitors and in the first round they had to taste coffee and guess the country of origin.
Next was a latte art competition and to finish they had to make drinks while wearing goggles they could not see out of.

The winner was Ruby Chen from London-based Old Spike, with Taylor Williams (Strangers) in second, Ardin Hasa (Bread Source) in third and Ross McIntyre (Green Farm Coffee) in fourth.
The prizes were bags of coffee, t-shirts and baseball caps and the next Barista Smackdown will be held in May 2025.
Mr Hayward-Smith said: "It was a great night and it brought together baristas from all different coffee shops under one roof."
