A church hopes to install solar panels and double-glazed windows to cut its heating bills.
Upwell Methodist Church, near Downham Market, has applied for planning permission to modify its 1950s building on Town Street.
It says in a planning statement: "The proposals will provide an import long-term benefit for the church and the community of Upwell who use the premises.

"Improved thermal performance of double-glazed windows and doors will help reduce ongoing space heating costs, and improve levels of comfort in the hall.
"The photovoltaic panels will generate electricity for direct use in the building, or exported back to the grid."
The panels would be installed on the roof of the hall to the rear of the building.
Single-glazed doors and windows at the hall would also be replaced.
