Searches for two missing people are still going on weeks after they were last seen.

It has now been three weeks since Jim Harper was seen leaving Roy's Dereham store in Yaxham Road on September 17.

Police first expressed their concern for the 55-year-old's welfare in an appeal on September 23 - but a spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary has confirmed he is yet to be found.

Police have also confirmed they are still searching for a 73-year-old woman from Downham Market.

Mary White was last seen at her home in Nelson Avenue at around 10pm on September 24

She was reported missing by family members the following morning after they discovered she was no longer in the house.

Last week CCTV footage was released which showed Mrs White walking along Railway Road in Downham Market at 3.30am on September 25 wearing white pyjamas.

Police said specialist searches were now "largely complete" on October 1 but that officers will continue to conduct ongoing inquiries and regular searches in the area.

Anyone who has seen Mr Harper or Mrs White should contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
