A £190,000 project to build a new bus stop and reconstruct roads in a market town is set to get under way later this month.
Various roads in Acle including The Street, New Road, Old Road, Norwich Road and Reedham Road will see work carried out on their worn-out surfaces.
The footpath in The Street is being widened with the construction of a new bus stop also taking place during the four-week work which starts on October 21.
Bus stop work will be carried out during the first two weeks with temporary traffic lights in place and cars banned from parking on The Green.
The following two weeks will be for the roadworks which will be completed between 7pm and 5am and fully signed diversions will be in place.

Access for drivers will be provided to each closure point and the only disruption pedestrians may face is when work is happening outside their home.
The roadworks are being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and its contractors.
