A car was spotted being driven the wrong way down the A47 for more than six miles.
A witness reported the incident to police after they saw the car driving in the wrong direction between the A140 and Thickthorn junctions at 2.45am on Saturday.
Shortly after, a second witness reported seeing a car heading in the wrong direction towards the Easton roundabout, more than six miles away.

Both times, the vehicle was travelling westbound down the eastbound carriageway.
Police are now appealing to the public for anyone with information.
