Plans have been revealed for a village glamping site surrounded by trees and wildlfowers
Robert Martin has applied for planning permission to install a glamping pod on farmland at Hilgay, near Downham Market.
Proposals for the site, off Hubbard's Drove, include decking, footpaths, parking and bicycle storage, along with planting trees, shrubs, meadow grass and wildflowers.

A planning statement says: "The small-scale, sustainable development will be a form of farm diversification to support the existing River Meadow Farm and provide subtle and discreet countryside holiday accommodation for tourists visiting the area on short breaks and weekend stays.
"The site is proposed to be in operation year-round, making it an excellent option for visitors to retreat and access everything the area has to offer in all seasons."
A market research study says the demand for countryside holidays is increasing and the scheme would have "a potentially significant "impact on the local economy.
