A man has been airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital after a crash near Thetford.
Police, fire, ambulance and air ambulance crews were called to the A1066 at Brettenham at around 8.30pm on Thursday.
They had received reports of a green Kawasaki motorcycle leaving the road and colliding with a tree.
The rider, a man aged in his 50s, sustained life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed while the emergency services worked at the scene and reopened just after 2.30am.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or the motorbike's manner of driving before the incident.
