Nine new homes could be built on a village greenfield site in Cambridgeshire.
Fenland council last year agreed plans for six new properties on land at Friday Bridge, between Wisbech and Outwell.
Now the developer, named as Elm United Charities in the earlier application, has applied to increase the number to nine.
Planning papers say three four-bed, and six two-bed, homes are now proposed for the site off Well End which is currently farmland.
The properties are described as "market housing" and would be approached via three new access points off the main road, including one which would also serve the field to the rear of the development.
A planning statement says an archaeological investigation of the site, which was a condition of the previous planning permission, is under way.
A decision from Fenland council is expected early next year.
