An inquest has opened into the death of a telecoms engineer found dead at home on September 23.
The body of Ian Berry, 61, was identified to police officers by his partner of six years at his house in Bracken Road, Thetford.
In a statement to Norfolk Coroner’s Court, his daughter confirmed Mr Berry was born in London on February 4, 1963.
The medical cause of death was given as hanging.
A full inquest will take place next year.
